Providence Art Club Wedding | Steve & Sabine

Sabine and Steve are married! They had their wedding in October hoping for some cool temps, and once the day cleared it got a bit hot and humid – not ideal for a couple that wanted cool temps, but so much better than wet weather:)

Our day started at the hotel with Sabine (and Steve:) getting ready!

One of the guys gifts were these cuff links – a special set for each of his groomsmen.

Back in Sabine’s room, she gifted her niece with a little gift bag and she was in love! She hugged her new gifts!

Sabine could have seriously put on her dress with her hair IN the curlers and looked gorgeous! I love the curler look on her!

This cutie is awesome – so full of personality and she LOVES her auntie!!

When Sabine started to get dressed, her niece covered her eyes and said very seriously, “She needs privacy”. She was NOT peeking:)

Sabine’s mom helped her with her jewelry…

Sabine’s niece couldn’t stop complimenting Sabine – it was so adorable and sincere. She thought Sabine looked just like her favorite princesses and she was mesmerized!

This is Steve’s mom and she is the sweetest! She brought pure joy and happiness into the room when she came in!

Sabine was escorted up the isle up her brother and Steve and his best man were up there taking a peek – I love the leaning picture.

I met Steve (and Sabine) back when I photographed Dante and Kaytee’s wedding and here is Dante doing a reading.

When we arrived at the Providence Art Club, we immediately squeezed in some photos of the bridal party, the two of them and their families!

Across the street from the Providence Art Club was a beautiful church with this color coordinating door for us:)

As we came back to the Providence Art Club, the guests had made their way inside and we could use a bit of the sidewalk and outside of their buildings:)

Inside the Providence Art Club, the room was ready for the guests…

There were photos of Steve and Sabine on each of the tables at the age of the table number!

Although they weren’t supposed to have an entrance into dinner, it worked out that they kid of did and it showed off their cool change of shoes too:)

There were toasts by both moms, both maids-of-honors and by Steve’s best man! Then dinner was served in a very cool delivery fashion!

We snuck out for a few night photos on the beautiful deck of the Providence Art Club

and then after dinner the reception moved upstairs for the formalities and some dancing!

I LOVE all of the photos of Steve and Sabine entering and then having their first dance:)

Steve had a very happy dance with his mom…

and Sabine danced with her brother and they surprised us all with a fun and fabulous dance in the middle of the song!

Steve and Sabine – thank you so much for remembering me when it came to your day! I am so happy that you thought of me and that I got to be a part of it!!

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Bride: When the church doors opened and I started walking down the aisle towards my soon-to-be husband. My eyes instantly started filling up with tears of joy.

Groom: Watching my bride come down the aisle with tears in her eyes!

What was your favorite detail?

Bride: I loved the way the tables turned out. The family style table set up, the sunflower and eucalyptus greens table runners and the photos of Steve and I as kids for our table numbers came together better than I had envisioned.

Groom: The Red Sox cuff links and tie bar that Sabine gave me the morning of the wedding.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Bride: Live in the moment and don’t sweat the small stuff. Most important part of the day is that you are marrying the love of your life.

Groom: It’s one day — a great day, but it’s one day. Remember that when planning and when experiencing your wedding.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Bride: My niece/ flower girl turning everyone into mac and cheese with her fairy wands as she was walking down the aisle 🙂

Groom: It was during Lindsay and Rhonda’s (the Maids of Honor) speech. They had me put my hand on top of Sabine’s and said that it’s the last time I’ll have the upper hand.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Bride and Groom: Nope!! It was all perfect.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Mini-moon: Newport, RI Honeymoon: To Be Determined
