Renaissance Golf Club Wedding | Emily & Ryan

Emily and Ryan were married at the beginning of October at the Renaissance Golf Club! It is a rarity, that I have not met my couples when I walk into their wedding day but that was the case here for Emily and Ryan!  We had chatted over the phone a few times, but with their original location and then a big move to Texas, phone calls was it for us…until this day:)!

Their day started and ended at the Renaissance Golf Club. A fabulous venue with rooms and suites in the main building allowing both Emily and Ryan to get ready there and be able to stay there that night!

While Emily was wrapping up her hair and make-up, Ryan was next door getting ready to put on his suit too.

With the help of his dad, he was ready for their first look:)

Emily’s mother, sister and sister-in-law to be helped her into her dress…

and her mother helped to attach a piece of lace to her bouquet that came from her own dress/veil!

I just couldn’t narrow down the photos from their first look any further! It was just so sweet and full of emotion, I wanted to include them all here!

After a few minutes with just the two of them, their wedding party and families joined us!

As I was moving my bag to get ready for the ceremony, the boys came walking (and joking:) by me – I just love these photo of them as they are headed back inside!

After the ceremony, we scooted away in a golf cart for a couple of moments together alone and with a different scene:)

Back inside the guests were enjoying some cocktails and the room was ready for the festivities to begin:)

Emily and Ryan – thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer! I loved getting to meet the two of you (and your families)!  I wish you both the best out in Texas:)!

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Too hard to pick just one! Reading our vows we had written to one another, our first dance, parent dances, and being able to celebrate with our family and closest friends are just a few!

What was your favorite detail?

Either the beautiful flowers on the arbor/bouquets (from the same florist Emily’s parents used for their wedding!) or the birch tree-inspired cake. Gorgeous.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Take in every second of the day and enjoy. It goes by too fast! Don’t sweat the small stuff.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

We would change nothing – loved it all and so grateful for our families, who helped make it happen!
