Lindsey & Alex | Wedding at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel, Boston, MA

This was our amazing view while getting ready at last weekend’s wedding! We had just come off a big storm on Friday and the clouds started to clear while we were having hair and make-up done! It was absolutely perfect!

When I arrived, Lindsey and her girls had all of her details ready and waiting for me to photograph – it was perfect!I was with Lindsey every step of the day for her wedding – from the moment that she got in the chair to the final dance of the night:)I just love this angle and the lighting was perfect! I couldn’t decide on color or black and white so I put the BW on Facebook and the color here:)!All of the girls had matching embroidered robes – this is definitely becoming a trend – and a great one at that:)!While I was spending time with the girls, my second shooter for the day, Sharon Reiley, was spending a bit of time with the guys while they got ready!Back in the girls room, it was time for the dress – all of the ladies helped to primp all of the layers!Lindsey’s mom was on hand to help with the dress and jewelry too! After everyone was ready, it was time for the first look! The left side was Sharon’s view and on the right was mine:)!When the bridal party came out, I had a few minutes with the girls….and Sharon spent a few minutes with the guys!Sharon took the next picture and I love it!!After the bridal party and family pictures, we headed inside for the Ketuba signing and the ceremony!
The reception began with a bang after their intros and first dance it went right into the fun and energetic hora! After speeches we snuck outside for a few picture with the sunset. Lindsey and Alex enjoy photography and really made it a special part of their day! I was able to photograph Lindsey and Alex (with the city skyline) with three different types of light! Bright mid-day sunlight at 2pm, around sunset at 7:30pm and then the lit up city skyline at night around 9pm! Amazing!Upon our return it was time to cut the cake!

Once we saw what the sky looked like after the sun fully set, that is when we made the decision to pop back out there – just for t couple minutes:)!This next pose is one that Lindsey and Alex have to have – it is their thing! They have a collection and display on their wall of all the places they have been -doing this exact thing! We did one at their engagement session that joined their collection too! Lindsey is always on the right! Because we photographed them at three different times of the day, they have three different versions to choose from – in their wedding attire:)!
The party kicked into full swing upon our return and lasted the rest of the night:)!

Lindsey and Alex – congratulations to you both:)! I hope you are enjoying every minute of your honeymoon:)!!
