Lauren & Greg | Wedding at Chatham Bars Inn

I have been anxiously awaiting the return of Lauren and Greg from their honeymoon and they are BACK and as you can see, their preview is ready!!  Lauren and Greg were married on Memorial Day weekend at the gorgeous Chatham Bars Inn and although their day was a tad-bit chilly, the whole weekend was beautiful!

Their day began and ended at the Chatham Bars Inn, with a quick trip to Our Lady of the Cape in Brewster for their ceremony.  I began with visits to both Lauren’s suite, overlooking the water, and Greg’s suite just around the corner ….When I popped over to see the guys, they were just about ready to head to the church…Back at Lauren’t suite, the girls were finished up and about to start getting their dresses on:)A quick lesson for mom on how to put in and out the veil…
and then time to get on the dress:)A quick toast before heading out…
The ceremony at Our Lady of the Cape was about to begin – with Greg’s adorable nieces leading the way…
Back at the Chatham Bars Inn, we spent some time with the bridal party and the families before joining cocktail hour:)A gentleman let us on his boat for a quick picture:)!I just LOVE so many photos of Greg and Lauren and couldn’t narrow it down any further:)!Before heading in to cocktail, we had to visit the gorgeous trees up by the main building…Cocktail party was off to a great start with a raw bar:)
This is the lobster trap card holder that Greg made himself – very impressive! These are Greg’s two sisters and their little girls – I envision two best friends for life:)And with their entrance, the reception began…
The first dance led into the toasts by Lauren’s father, along with the maid-of-honor and best man….and the toasts ended with a surprise song that was sung by Lauren’s brother and his girlfriend! After Lauren and Greg had a bite to eat, we snuck outside to catch the end of the sunset and I am so happy we did – this is my favorite time to shoot!

The rest of the night was filled with dancing, dancing and more dancing!
Lauren and Greg never left the dance floor and I do not think that Greg’s two nieces did either (until they took a 5 minute rest on the bench:)!
My first selfie-stick at a wedding:)!These two are SO much fun and the kindest people too!

Lauren and Greg – I am so happy that you found me! It was an honor to be a part of your fabulous day! A huge congratulations and best wishes to you both:)!

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Lauren: Saying our vows and having a heartfelt moment on the dance floor with Greg.

Greg: Watching Lauren walk down the aisle.

What was your favorite detail?

Lauren: The venue itself. It’s always been my dream to have my wedding there and it was just as perfect as I could have wished!

Greg: The lobster trap card holder (he made it himself!)

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Lauren: Try not to stress about the little details and make sure to enjoy every minute, as it goes by way too fast!

Greg: Go on a honeymoon after the wedding because it goes by way to fast and the R&R is definitely necessary.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Lauren: Not a thing!

Greg: I would make the reception three days long.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We spent 12 days in Hawaii, splitting our time between Maui and Oahu.
