chris & kerry | Wedding at Easton’s Beach Rotunda, Newport, RI

On June 29th, Chris and Kerry tied the knot:)! We started the day with Kerry and the girls at hotel just down the street from Easton’s Beach Rotunda! The girls were well ahead of schedule when I arrived! So impressed!!Kerry and her family actually know Erica and her family!! Erica and Jared just got married a few weeks ago and were up here on the blog too!I love the next picture on the right – Kerry is being “helped” by her college roommate, holding up her dress:)! Reminds me of me and my roommates and how well you know each other after four years:)!Kerry’s sister and mom helped with her dress, details, shoes and garter!Kerry’s father came in for the first time and his reaction was so heartfelt and emotional – he had the whole room tearing up!
We did a few pictures of the girls on the hotel grounds before getting tucked away to head to the church!Kerry’s awesome ride to the church!
These photos of Kerry and her dad are some of my favorites – but this one in particular is at the top of my list!I thought this one was cute because you can see me:)! I have another cropped-in version for Kerry, but it is rare that I pop up in my own picture:)!

After the ceremony there were bubble galore…and a champagne toast:)!We did a lot of our pictures in the park right across from the church…Love this one…
We also walked across the street for these beautiful hydrangeas we spotted!
Then Kerry, Chris and I made a quick stop on the cliff walk by the ocean – it was a bit foggy buy no rain:)!Back at the Easton’s Beach Rotunda, we met the bridal party for a quick spin on the carousel before cocktail hour! These are Kerry and Chris’s awesome parents!!Once the dancing began, it was a party the whole night! The ring-bearer and flower girl were ADORABLE and never lost their dancing energy! These are the mom’s – the AMAZING thing is that they are already friends:)!! I hope that my children marry into great families too:)!!In Chris’s family there is a ball and chain tradition – after the speech, the groom dances around a bit with it, and it has the names and dates of ALL the cousins as they get married! It was Kerry’s aunt’s (I believe) birthday! They had a special song for her and she danced with everyone:)!This next guy was amazing – full blown flips on the dance floor and I caught one each step of the way!!The favors were personalized bottles of wine with the labels designed by Chris’s sister and the wine made by his father! Here are some of the “shoe drinking tradition” that Kerry and Chris mention below – hysterical and a bit gross at the same time! The night ended with a group hugging dance:)!

Congratulations Kerry and Chris! It was an awesome day from start to finish with fabulous people surrounding you! I wish you the best!!

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day? Being with all of our family and friends and watching everyone have a great time.

What was your favorite detail? All of the little personal touches we had throughout the day, like the koozies , the homemade wine, the flip flops. This way people will have something to look back at our day and remember it by.

Any advice for future brides/grooms? Stick to your vision of how you want your wedding to be and try your best to stay in the moment and enjoy every minute because it goes by in a blur!

Funniest memory from your wedding day? Bringing back my dad’s old college tradition of drinking beer out of shoes!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything? NO! Everything was perfect, exactly how we had always pictured it would be.

Where did you go on your honeymoon? St. Thomas, it was amazing! We would advise all future couples to go on their honeymoon right away so the moment doesn’t have to end.
