Charter Oak Wedding | Victoria & Todd

I like to believe that “Rain is good luck on your wedding day:)” and if it is true, then Todd and Victoria just received a lot of good luck:)!! These two were married during Memorial Day weekend, and if you were in Massachusetts, you know that it rained a LOT that weekend:)! Regardless of the weather, these two had a great day with just their immediate families! They also chose the perfect venue for inclement weather! As you will see below, we were able to get gorgeous photos outdoors using the fantastic cover that Charter Oak offers!

Due to current restrictions leading up to their day, they decided to keep it intimate and then have a big one year wedding celebration again next year! The great news is that the restrictions were lifted just as their day arrived, so they were able to dance and celebrate without masks AND we get to do it all again next year with ALL of their friends and families!

Take a peek at their beautiful day full below that was so carefully “crafted” by Victoria and her mom! They put so much time and effort into so many details that also tied past generations into the day!

Victoria and Todd – thank you for including me (and Steph:) in your day! I can’t wait to do it all again next year and meet ALL of your people!

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Every memory during our wedding day was so special and indescribable. But moments such as our intimate first glance and our ceremony elements were great reminders to slowly reminisce and enjoy every moment of the day. We were so fortunate to all be together with our immediate families after a very interesting pandemic year, and enjoyed these precious memories throughout the day!

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Victoria~ Don’t forget to take breaths and take in all memories such as during the wedding day, the planning, as well as reflecting on your journey as a couple. Reminding ourselves of our beginning and how far we have come, such as Todd and I as high school prom dates, always leaves us in awe and excited for what the future holds.

Todd~ Always make moments with laughter! Reassurance, support and little laughter go a long way even when busy or stressed.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Victoria~ so many I can recount! But if I had to name one, seeing my 88-year-old grandmother stand up from her wheelchair and dancing/waving her napkin to the Italian tarantella song; very deep routes of Sicilian on my family’s side. She even insisted on standing up again to dance to more songs throughout the night!

Todd~ All funny moments with all 6 brothers together! Whether it was being hoisted up in the air or dancing along with my littlest brothers to “crab style” dance moves.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

We both agree, that aside from weather, there was nothing we would change about our wedding day! Despite our colder than usual weekend and downpour rain, even our priest during the ceremony mentioned rain is good luck in many cultures, so we are happy to know we are poured with love and luck.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Cape Cod 🙂
