Caitlin & Dan | Wedding at the Red Lion Inn, Cohasset, MA

On a chilly day at the end of November, I wrapped up my 2014 wedding season with Caitlin and Dan’s fabulous wedding! I love a winter wedding and this one was perfect – from the awesome families and bridal party, to the venue and clear weather (though a bit chilly:) and of course to the fantastic couple who braved the cold for some great pictures on the beautiful grounds of the Red Lion Inn!

Caitlin and Dan’s day was very well organized, with the hotel for getting ready being around the corner from the church which was even closer to the Red Lion!  I arrived to the girls in progress and the guys were in the room next door almost fully ready!  I started with Caitlin’s details…I LOVE a sparkly shoe like Caitlins! The ring on the right had been her grandmothers:)….

The Rosary ended up wound around her bouquet but I was able to photograph it before it even ended up on there:)!I popped next door and captured Dan getting ready…He received a gift from Caitlin that I delivered and it was these fabulous token cuff links:)Back in the girls room, Caitlin’s make-up was underway…and then it was time to pull the whole look together:)!It was time to open her gift…
and when she did, she found that they had each engraved the same words, “Te Amo” onto each others gifts:)Caitlin with her fabulous MOH and her MOM:)!

Caitlin screamed elegance – It was the perfect look for her!

Caitlin’s father escorted her into the church and the ceremony began! After the church, we had a one minute drive over to the Red Lion and we quickly jumped into our picture time before the light disappeared! It gets so dark so early here in New England at this time of year!We started with the whole group and then sent them in to warm up while we wrapped up with Caitlin and Dan alone!Aren’t these three the cutest?! The two on the right are siblings and if I am not mistaken, they are all first cousins on Dan’s side!
The Red Lion is gorgeous at anytime of year and has so many beautiful possibilities and gorgeous looks in relatively small area (which is perfect for girls in dresses and heels – they don’t need to move TOO far:)!I just love these two – they are so kind and caring and treat each other with the utmost respect. Their day was truly about the two of them and their commitment to each other and you could feel it throughout the day….I am just so happy for them!I had to include a picture of the proud and happy parents:)! They were a special part of the entire day!Inside of the Red Lion, the decor was set and ready to greet the guests! It is such a stunningly warm and inviting venue!Meanwhile Caitlin and her girls were working on a tiny snafu with the dress before attending cocktail hour! Before entering cocktail, we snuck back outside for a few night pictures:)A little father/daughter dancing during cocktail:)!These are Caitlin and her college friends along with their moms – so sweet! Then the reception began with intros and the grand stair entrance of Caitlin and Dan!Caitlin and Dan’s fathers kicked off the speeches with a couple of toasts…and we squeezed in a few group shots during the beginning courses….We squeezed in parent dances and cake cutting before the main course, which left the rest of the night to socializing, dancing and partying:)!
The dance floor was always packed!Caitlin’s friends did share with me that she is not typically one to kick off a dance floor, but she did do a little dancing on this night:)!Just before I headed out, I spotted one last celebratory “shot” and I had to capture it:)!

Caitlin and Dan – I wish you the absolute best – great people deserve great things and you definitely had a great day!! I hope we cross paths again:)!!
