Annah & Matt | Plymouth Country Club, Plymouth, MA

The last weekend in September held the wedding of Annah and Matt…It was a day that started out with some questionable weather, but in Plymouth, the skies cleared and not a drop fell from the sky! When I arrived at Annah’s parent’s home, the group was underway with hair and make-up! We had a plan for the day, and it involved the guys joining us at the home for a first-look and bridal party pictures! Annah attempted to describe her parent’s yard (and the view), but the reality of it blew her description out of the water! Their home was stunning and the yard and view was absolutely breathtaking!undefinedundefinedWhen the guys arrived, Annah was still in the make-up chair! My second shooter, the fabulous Sharon Reiley, headed to the basement with them while we finished up.undefinedundefinedJust before getting on Annah’s dress, I peeked out the window and spotted the guys down below! I captured the view on the left, from the balcony, while Sharon was on the ground level getting the picture on the right!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAnnah and Matt’s first look took place right there in the yard of her parent’s home…Normally, we do our first looks in private, but not this one! Everyone found a spot in the windows and watched everything unfold! They were so cute about it…it felt like they should have even popped some popcorn for this romantic comedy that they were about to watch!undefinedThis is Sharon’s view! A perfect example of the benefit of a second shooter…two different angles of the same moment can yield two fabulous sets of pictures!

undefinedundefinedundefinedSharon’s view again :)! undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAfter our first look and formals, we headed to the church for the ceremony…undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThe final destination was the Plymouth Country Club for the reception…a great front lawn for a few more pictures and some extended family pictures!undefinedundefined

undefinedWhile I was working with the families outside, Sharon was photographing the room!undefinedAnnah and Matt joined cocktail hour and spent time talking with their guests!undefinedThe official introductions into the reception and then into the first dance!undefinedundefinedundefinedA stolen moment at the end of dinner…undefinedThe dancing kicked off before dinner was even over!undefinedThe dance floor had to be cleared for the cake cutting and parent dances!undefinedundefinedThe mother/son dance song was a first for me and TOTALLY fit these two! It turned out to be Dynamite by Taio Cruz!! Matthew’s mother was so much fun and full of energy from the moment that I had arrived that morning! It was a perfect song for the two of them and they had so much fun with it!undefinedHalfway through the song, Mrs. Toia started waving everyone to join in…it was a great moment!undefinedAnnah and Matt were dancers for the rest of the night!undefinedundefinedundefinedA quick shot of the guest book at the end of the night…undefinedand a couple final pictures from the last dance!undefinedundefined

Congratulations Annah and Matthew! It was a pleasure having the chance to work with you! Thank you for finding me and allowing me to be part of your day!
