Stephanie & Rob | MA Engagement Photographer

Last week I met Stephanie and Rob for their engagement session. Before I arrived, I felt like I already knew them because Stephanie was the maid of honor in her best friends wedding last year. I was SO excited when I received the email that they had gotten engaged and they would love me to be a part of their day! You can click here   to see the wedding where we met (Caitlin and Dan’s:) and you can even spy Rob in two of the photos too!

Stephanie and Rob chose to do their session at the Paine Estate in Waltham. It is a place that is special to them because they grew up in the town and had many events that utilized the beautiful spot!  I loved that it was not only gorgeous, but had a special connection to them!

Keep on scrolling to see a bit of our time together and a beautiful (and hot:) summer evening!

Steph and Rob, I can’t wait to be a part of your day!! Thank you for choosing me:)!

How did he propose |
We always go to Maine every summer at least once. It’s a trip we look forward to and never miss. This year Rob wanted to go in April- a little out of the ordinary.  But it was the beginning of school vacation for the week so I was excited to go. Since most of the restaurants were still closed for the season, we decided to have a picnic lunch on Goose Rocks Beach before playing mini golf and hitting the usual shops. After lunch we were walking back to the car and Rob said my name. When I turned around he was on his knees! I was completely caught off guard and to be honest, I was so shocked I only remember part of what he said! It was the most wonderful moment and when Rob went to put the ring on my finger he almost dropped it in the sand!  A few minutes later a woman offered to take our picture since she had seen the whole thing and told us that her daughter had gotten engaged in that same spot! After toasting with a glass of champagne we headed home to celebrate with our families. It was the best day!!
