Rosecliff | Alyssa & Austin

A wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye but every minute is magical and oh-so-worth it!! Alyssa and Austin’s day couldn’t have been any more perfect! They first chose Newport as the backdrop for their day and then pulled all of the pieces together perfectly:) From their elegant look for the opulent Rosecliff Mansion to their mode of transportation – everything worked together perfectly!

Their day started at Gurney’s where their two groups were getting ready – right down the hall from each other:)

Everything color coordinated – even the gift of cookies that was a special delivery:)!

This little bear was one of the first gifts that Austin gave to Alyssa in high school:) I love that it made the trip to Newport – but it wasn’t the only special “animal” to make the trip….read on!

Alyssa’s mom brought her veil so that they could add a piece to Alyssa’s bouquet…a perfect touch!

Over in Austin’s room, they guys were starting to get ready too…

Alyssa and Austin exchanged gifts and both put them to use on their wedding day. Austin’s father helped him get his new cuff links through his shirt!

Dad and brother with the assist:)

HELLLLO BOW!!!! This dress was PERFECT for Alyssa! I can’t even imagine what it must have been like to be in the store and see her step out in it! That bow just puts it over the top!!

Once Alyssa was ready with the help of her mom and sister – the other special animal is her childhood pup:)! She was a little nervous in her new environment (and with a camera pointed at her:), but she hung on for some special photos!

Alyssa and Austin chose Marble House for their first look and it worked out perfectly:)!

It worked out that the wedding party had a view of their first look – it was adorable!!

Stunning – I spent the day in awe of these two…Drop dead gorgeous!!

After Marble House, we headed over to Rosecliff to wrap up our photos and get ready for the ceremony to begin:) This car was the perfect added touch to their day:)!

THE Rosecliff staircase on our way to tuck Alyssa away!

The ceremony was set to begin…

A final kiss as they exited The Salon at Rosecliff as husband and wife…

A quick moment out back alone before the party begins!

It is official…they are married:)!

After enjoying some cocktails and the company of their guests, it was time for their Rosecliff reception to begin!

Their were toasts by Alyssa’s parents and her sister, along with Austin’s brother!

Cake cutting lead into fantastic parent dances and then the party really kicked off with a bang and didn’t stop:)!

Alyssa and Austin – I am truly so thankful that you two found me and chose me to be a part of your day! I hope that we see each other again soon – and your families too:)! You are a fabulous group! Enjoy that honeymoon:)!!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Seeing each other for the first time at our first look.  It was a magical moment for us that helped make us feel super relaxed during our ceremony later.

What was your favorite detail?

Adding a personal touch to our ceremony by writing our own vows that we kept secret from each other until that moment.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

The people that you have trusted to make your day special are professionals (like Heather!)  Don’t worry about the outcome because they have got it under control!

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Our first cake cut didn’t go as planned and we had to make multiple cuts to get it right!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

No!  Our day was absolutely perfect for us.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Virgin Islands 🙂
