Lisa & Jason | Wequassett Resort, Chatham, MA

Lisa and Jason were married in August at the Wequassett Resort in Chatham, MA. Although there were a few sprinkles in the morning, it turned out to be a  fantastic overcast day. Their daytime reception ended around 4pm, but their party continued later that evening after I left! Just a couple of hours later, the whole group re-met at another area on the Wequassett property…it sounds to me like a great way to extend a day that goes by in the blink of an eye!

Lisa & Jason

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Jason – Watching my bride walk down the isle.  Lisa –  It is hard to pick this one.  If I had to choose it would be the ceremony from start to finish.

What was your favorite detail?

Jason – The cake was beautiful from top to bottom and of course it was delicious.   Lisa –  I was in love with my bouquet.  It was just how I had imagined it would look like.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

This is an easy question.  When reading this question Jason and I looked at each other and said the same thing, “be organized”.  Planning a wedding can be stressful.  However, it went smoothly for us because we worked as a team and we both put in 50% of the work.  So our advice is – organization and teamwork!!

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Jason and I have the same answer for this one as well.  While exchanging rings, Jason got confused because my engagement ring was on my right hand so he was placing my wedding ring on the right hand.  I immediately stopped him.  Then, when putting his ring on, he put out his right hand for me so I just went for his right hand.  It definitely made our guests laugh!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Nothing at all, it was perfect!!!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Hawaii
