Botanical Center, RI Wedding | Lindsey & PJ

2018 is off to an amazing start and it couldn’t have kicked off with a better wedding! Lindsey and PJ are the BEST! These two are such fabulous people, their families are awesome and they chose a FABULOUS venue…the Botanical Center inside of Roger Williams Park.  Although I had been inside for some photos before, this was my first ceremony and reception there and let me tell you – I am IN LOVE:)!

Our day started at the Residence Inn in Providence where Lindsey and PJ, along with their friends and family, were getting ready. It has quite the view of the Capital building too!

Lindsey’s mom and sister assisted her into her dress and shoes so quickly and without any snafus:)

This is Lindsey’s niece – she was ADORABLE the whole day:)!

These are Lindsey’s people:) Although she kept her immediate bridal party to her three sisters and sisters-in-law, these are her official people and they were all a part of the whole day too!

PJ met his guys in the bar for a couple of drinks before the first-look:)

Lindsey and PJ were married on March 24th which turned out to be the day of the nationwide rally. We found out just a couple days before the wedding and were a bit worried about the traffic, but it all worked out perfectly! We even had a birds-eye-view of everyone who participated!

Before we headed out, I took a few photos of Lindsey…Just stunning and it truly is inside and out:)

Lindsey and PJ had their first look at the Capital Building and then everyone joined for a few photos before we headed to Roger Williams!

When we arrived at Roger Williams Park we headed to the Temple to Music…We did our family formals and had a few quiet moments with just Lindsey and PJ alone before heading to their ceremony spot!

I just LOVE these impromptu photos – love the blanket, PJ holding the bouquet and the Temple to Music in the background too!

Inside of the Botanical Center, the details were set up and the ceremony spot was ready for guests to arrive!

I absolutely love that the Botanical Gardens gives you a bit of the tropical feel without leaving “home”:) Absolutely perfect for a March wedding too – brings the greenery right to you before we are really getting to see it here in New England:)

Lindsey’s niece all dressed up with her crown on:) She was SO good and all you had to ask her to say was “wedding” and she lit up with all smiles!

We tucked everyone away and the guests began to arrive to the Botanical Center:)!

These two are the absolute sweetest. Their ceremony was so perfect because it was extremely sincere and heartfelt – from their readers and vows to the emotion that you could read on their faces the whole ceremony – it was amazing:)

Their dog Sanka was there in spirit – His photo was on PJ’s custom socks! Click HERE to see the real Sanka at their engagement session:)

Take a peek at their reception below:)! A fabulous first dance, joined in by their friends and family and two emotional and awesome parent dances before Grandma joined in on the dancing with a pink cowgirl hat:)!

Seriously in love with the look of these chairs and the greenery as part of the reception at the Botanical Center!

Some of my favorite father/daughter and mother/son dance photos ever:)

A perfect moment before I headed out:)

Lindsey and PJ – It was an honor to be a part of your day and I am beyond thrilled to have had the chance to get to know the two of you and your families! You are FABULOUS people!!  I truly hope we cross paths again soon:)

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Walking out and seeing everyone that we love in the same beautiful venue will be a moment that will stay with us forever.

What was your favorite detail?
How everything came together so well. There were so many details, logistics, and people (and a giant rally) involved in the day, that it would have been so easy for something to go wrong. The night was like a dream, and we still feel so lucky that it was just so perfect.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Make sure you really like your vendors. It might take a bit more time to find the right personality match, but it will make all the difference day of if you genuinely like and trust the people who are running the show.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Dancing like idiots with everyone and catching up with all the wonderful, sweet, funny people in our lives

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nope, not a thing.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Maui and Hawai’i – definitely recommend you go!
