kaytee & dante | wedding at Roger Williams Park Casino Building, Providence, RI

Kaytee and Dante are MARRIED:)!!  The day was finally here!! Although they both were equally as happy, Dante couldn’t contain his excitement and kept shouting, “We are married!”…It was awesome!

The day started and ended in Providence! It is where they had their engagement session too:)!!  Both Kaytee and Dante and all of the bridal party people were getting ready there….

Dante’s family are all big-time Yankee fans! There was a family picture with a bunch of these jerseys:)!Back in Kaytee’s room, the make-up was wrapping up and it was time to get on her dress and details:)! One of the girls got the champagne toast ready!Just stunning!!The WHOLE bridal party headed out on the trolley to meet up with Dante for the first look!
After some pictures there, we headed over to the church for the ceremony…an extremely special part of their day…Dante is very involved in the church, and all of the people that performed the ceremony are his friends and colleagues! There was a small incident with some of the smoldering ashes – Kaytee and Dante mention it below:)! I knew it was under control, but wanted to make sure it didn’t get on Kaytee’s dress:)!After the ceremony we jetted off to Roger Williams Park – this was my first time even noticing the foot bridge and it is one of Kaytee’s favorite spots in the park!  It had some beautiful fall colors:)! Don’t let their smiles fool you, they were shivering! The beautiful morning took a slight turn at the moment we got to the bridge – a chilly wind swept through and a bit of a mist, but we totally made it work:)!!We did a few more pictures of Dante and Kaytee before heading back to the Casino building for our family portraits!

This picture was all them!! I don’t know the whole story, but all of a sudden they said, “boy band pose” and this is what happened:)!

Our quick pit-stop, before the Casino Building, was the carousel! It was originally supposed to be for just a picture with the little ones, but everyone ended up jumping on and going for a ride!

The cigar bar was a huge hit! When we came out later in the evening there were only a couple left! Dante and Kaytee were pleasantly surprised!During the intros, Kaytee and Dante shared their first kiss – in a dip:)!I thought this picture was perfect in a vintage style BW….I just love it!Back inside they cut the cake and the dancing began! The guys snuck back out for some cigar time and I joined them for a few minutes! Although I am not a cigar smoker, I am a lover of cigar pictures:)!The final moments of a fantastic day:)!

Kaytee and Dante – congratulations to you both! It was a pleasure to be a part of your day and to get to meet all of your family and friends!! I wish you the best in the future and can’t wait to hear about India:)!!

Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day? The First Look

What was your favorite detail? Dante’s was the cigar bar; Kaytee’s was the cake toppers because they incorporated our personalities and our cats!

Any advice for future brides/grooms?  Make sure to pause throughout the day and weekend –rehearsal, morning of, day of and next day–and take a moment to celebrate all the emotions and just be present! The weekend is so exciting sometimes it’s hard to take time to appreciate all of it.

Funniest memory from your wedding day? When the church was almost lit in fire from incense by the acolyte (altar server) and the matrix-style moves we made to avoid sparks. Luckily we had Heather to jump in and help with the burning charcoal 🙂

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?  Not really–but it went too quickly and we totally could’ve danced for another hour or two if we had more time at the reception.

Where did you go on your honeymoon? Haven’t gone yet, but we are taking a trip of a lifetime to India next year for our our friends/bridesmaid’s wedding so saving our honeymoon for then 🙂
