Emilie & Mark | Newport Engagement Session

Emilie and Mark are getting married in 2021 and they have been waiting quite a while to have their engagement session! We have had to reschedule a couple of times – due to the pandemic, but last week it was finally time:)!

I was so excited to meet these two in person, because I have already done engagement sessions for Emilie’s two siblings! Now it was finally time to meet Emilie!

Emilie and Mark chose to do their engagement session in Newport, where they will also be getting married next year! Take a peek below at our time together!

We weren’t able to get to the Castle Hill Lighthouse, so we headed to the spot that these two got engaged!

Emilie and Mark – thank you for choosing me to be a part of your wedding story! I am so excited to see everyone and to meet the rest of your family for the first time! Looking forward to May already:)!

How did he propose | Emilie’s dad loves surprises and planned a “family fun day” in Newport. The whole family, including Emilie’s siblings and their spouses, boarded a bus and stopped at lots of cool places in Newport. At one point, the bus driver told us there was a beautiful spot for family photos. Emilie walked off the bus first and Mark followed behind her. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. After she said “yes!” her entire family was standing their with noise makers and confetti ready to celebrate. The entire family went out for an engagement dinner in Newport. Mark knows how important Emilie’s family is to her and made sure they were included in this special day!
