At the end of October, I had the honor of photographing Larry and Doreen’s wedding at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI! I am a huge fan of Kirkbrae – it is beautiful, the staff is SO nice and the food is delicious! Larry and Doreen actually found me through Kirkbrae!
When their day arrived it was beautiful….sunny and not too chilly with just a hint of wind:)! I spent the earlier part of the day with Doreen while she had her make-up done, and then we traveled over to Kirkbrae together! It was a calm afternoon, nothing was rushed…just simply perfect (although I may have spent a TINY bit of time relaxing Doreen’s nerves when she thought about walking up the isle:)!
I went over to grab Doreen’s phone because we could hear some texts coming in, and this is what we found!! So sweet and thoughtful!
When we arrived at Kirkbrae the festivities began! Doreen’s friends and family arrived, and it was time to get the dress on!
Doreen and I took a peek around to check it out too:)!
Larry arrived and was greeting the guests as they arrived….I stole him for a quick minute:)!
Then the ceremony began – the kids were ADORABLE walking up the isle!
When Larry saw Doreen, it was one of the most emotional responses I have experienced…you could feel the love and admiration he has for Doreen….
I LOVE this…The response the little guys had when they saw the two of them kissing in front of them was just TOO cute!!
After the ceremony we did some bridal party, family and friends pictures before wrapping up with Doreen and Larry alone!
Back inside the guests were wrapping up cocktail hour and were about to come in to enjoy the reception and a four-course meal!
Their choreographed first dance, ended with this – adorable!!
This is Larry’s sister on the left and Doreen’s sister on the right!
Doreen had a special song picked out in memory of her mother. She carried a picture of the two of them and also added a necklace from her family too…
Doreen and Larry – congratulations – I truly was honored that you chose me to be a part of your day! I am even more touched by the kind words that you have sent me! I enjoyed being a special part of your day! Thank you so much and I wish you two the best:)!!
