Debby & Evan | Wedding at Lake View Pavilion, Foxboro, MA

On October 22nd, I arrived at Debby’s mother’s house and awaited the return of the girls from the salon! When Debby stepped out of the car she looked fantastic! Often times, I photograph hair and make-up, so I get to watch the transformation before my eyes. This time, I was seeing Debby for the first time when everything was done and it was stunning! Her hair (that was straight when I had last seen her) looked amazing!!  We were a bit short on time, so within a few minutes of arriving, we began to get the gowns on! I grabbed a few quick pictures of some of her details, before we started on the dress!undefinedundefinedundefinedThe little pup is Debby’s dog SA. She specifically had him at her mom’s house, so that I could get some pictures of him. He is definitely Debby’s first child…she even has a tattoo of his name!undefinedOnce the girls were dressed, they joined us while Debby got into hers!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedDebby with SA and her grandmother’s ring….two important details on her day.undefinedJust outside her mother’s front door is a corn field…a fantastic back-drop for some pictures!undefinedundefinedJust stunning!undefinedundefinedundefinedThe little guy is Debby’s newphew…he is adorable, but not very fond of a camera! As soon as he would see me lift it up, he would turn or run in the other direction!undefinedEvan and his best man, were positioned and waiting as the guests arrived…undefinedWhen Debby arrived, my second shooter Sharon was outdoors waiting to capture it! I just love this whole series of pictures!undefinedundefinedundefinedDuring a Greek ceremony, the guests remain standing, just like the bride and groom.undefinedThe bride and groom, hold these burning candles for the whole ceremony also…undefinedThe best man is very involved in the ceremony with the rings and with the crowns.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedWhen the ceremony ended we quickly squeezed in some pictures on the church property, while there was still a bit of daylight left!undefinedundefinedundefinedThis picture was also taken by Sharon…no matter what trick I used, I couldn’t get him to look at me…and let me tell you, that I am full of crazy noises, tickles and animal sounds!! I could get him to smile, but not look at me and that is very rare! I am sure that it is something that the family will be giggling about as he gets older and older!undefinedundefinedThese next two are also Sharon’s view…I love them!undefinedundefinedI saw this view as Debby and Evan were about to jump into the limo! I chased after them to grab these shots!undefinedWhen we arrived at Lakeview, it was already dark, but we wanted to still get some shots on their grounds and I am glad we did!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThe marjority of Debby’s guests were shuttled over to Lakeview on this bus and then safefly taken home the same way:undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedDebby and Evan’s wedding fell on Debby’s niece’s birthday! She was also an adorable (and happy!) bridesmaid! They presented her with a cupcake  and we all sang happy birthday to her!undefinedundefinedundefinedDebby and Evan also had a photobooth…and I snuck a few pictures of them when it was their turn!undefinedI was looking forward to the Greek dancing and it did not disappoint! It was fantastic to watch!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedBelow, Debby is dancing with her sister-in-law on the right and her former roommates on the left! One of her former roommates was a groom of mine last year  (the one in the blue)and he is the reason that Debby found me (thank you Rick and Michelle!)!undefinedThe little guy fell asleep while the party was still going on! He was fast asleep but still clutching some money that he had collected from the floor…adorable!undefinedundefined

Congratulations Debby and Evan! Best wishes to the two of you, SA and your newest four-legged member of your family Toula Belichick!

Evan & Debby

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Evan: When I finally saw Debby starting to walk down the aisle.  She looked great.

Debby: Walking down the aisle & seeing Evan in his tux.  Also, my great aunt Edie’s song at the reception

What was your favorite detail?

Evan: The Greek “zimbekiko” dancing that Peter the Best Man and I performed.  It was a blast too.

Debby: I loved my gown & I’m so glad we had the photobooth.  Everyone really enjoyed it.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Evan: Once the wedding day comes, drop the stress and just enjoy yourself.

Debby: Do a receiving line at the church or reception venue instead of greeting everyone at the tables.  It took up most of the night & was definitely my biggest regret!

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Evan: Peter standing behind us when he was holding the crowns in the Church.

Debby: I agree:)

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Evan: I don’t think so.

Debbie: Do a receiving line!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.
