kristen & mike | wedding at the publick house, sturbridge, ma

This is a FULL preview for Kristen and Mike!! Their wedding took place a couple of weeks ago and I am excited to say that their full gallery is just about ready to be posted! When that happens, it tends to be an even larger post than my normal :)!

Kristen and Mike had a fantastic day….the rain even cooperated with our schedule and we got outside without any big issues throughout the day!

My day started with the guys while the girls finished up at the salon!

undefinedThis is Mike and his twin brother.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAfter wrapping up some pictures of the guys, I headed up to where the girls were getting ready. Everyone was on the same property but just in different buildings!undefinedundefinedThis is the locket that Kristen and Mike mention below….that is a picture of Kristen’s mother….a special detail from their day.undefinedundefinedundefined
undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedIf you haven’t noticed yet, Kristen is a fun and happy girl!! Always smiling and laughing! It was instantly clear to me that her best-friend and maid-of-honor, Stacey, is her perfect match! There are a series of pictures of  Stacey helping Kristen with her jewelry and she was such fun!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedMike helped his grandmother to her seat before the ceremony began.undefinedThis series of pictures are some of my favorites from the day…Kristen’s dad helped her up the steps before walking her down the isle…I love them in color, but the black and white give them such a timeless feel (and this gorgeous church backdrop has a European feel!).undefinedThe inside of the church was just as stunning!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThis is Mike’s father presenting the eucharist to Kristen.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedI just LOVE this picture for the pure joy on Kristen’s face and in her movements!undefinedOnce again, I could have posted ten more pictures from this brief moment on the church steps….just in love with these!!undefinedBack at the Publick House we were under the gun fighting what was left of the daylight…but we pulled it off while battling a slight chill in the air (it is March in New England:)!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined
I loved this spot, but we were only able to stay there for a couple of minutes…we were blocking all of the guests as they tried to pull in the driveway :)!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedInside the reception hall, I grabbed a few detail shots before the guests were let in from cocktail hour!undefinedundefinedThe reception began and was a whirlwind party from that point on! Tons of dancing (especially from Kristen!), and even a change of dresses!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedI will leave you with a final kiss from the first dance!undefined

Congratulations to you both! I hope that we get to cross paths again in the future! A big thanks to Kristen’s co-worker Katie, one of my brides from last winter…I greatly appreciate your kind words that sent Kristen and Mike my way:)!
