ashley & brian | rhode island wedding photographer

Last week, I met Ashley and Brian at Colt State Park for their engagement session. We picked the day well in advance because it was their anniversary and when it arrived it was just beautiful! A beautiful day for a beautiful couple:)! Ashley and Brian are both happy, smiling, easy-going people!

When it comes to my wedding couples, I always recommend an engagement session – it is a time that allows us to get to know each other…for you to see how I will guide you and for myself to see how the two of your are in front of the camera!  This makes our time that is set aside for pictures, so much easier to navigate, and so much more efficient!

At Brian and Ashley’s session,  I learned that Brian is a great listener and that Ashley is a peanut:) She is under 5 feet (but will have heels on her wedding day:)! After sorting through all of the images that I took, I also noticed that Ashley has a very shy smile, until I or Brian makes her giggle…Once that giggle smile comes out, she just glows:)!

Here is a peek at their session!

How did he propose | We took a family trip to St. Michael in the Azores for three weeks. It was at the very end of the vacation and we all went to the highest mountain on the island (thinking it was just sight seeing that we had been doing the whole time!). We were looking at the view and taking pictures. He came up to me and started talking in my ear and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! We have pictures and it’s on video too! He couldn’t have chosen a better place, it was beautiful!
