Alexandra & Milton | Married | Red Lion Inn, Cohasset, MA

I have been working hard to get this wedding edited and posted for a couple reasons…First off, I am dying to share it! It was a fabulous day with fabulous people and great pictures came from that! Secondly, and most importantly, I thought it would be a nice Christmas gift for Alexandra and Milton! They will get to enjoy their day again with their friends and family through their pictures! I reached my goal and the preview is here…get ready for a jumbo sized preview…in the spirit of giving at Christmas:)!

My day started at Alexandra’s family’s home…she was wrapping up the last details of her hair and while she was doing that, I started with a few of her details!undefinedundefinedAlex found me though her sister (she is the one in the right sided picture standing up). Alex’s sister attended another wedding that I photographed and passed on my name! Thank you, Thank you!!undefinedAs I look at all of the pictures that I have chosen for this preview, I am struck by how happy Alex is…She is the sweetest, kindest and happiest girl and her true joy shines through in these photos! I just love her!!undefinedAlexandra’s father was so cute…he was worried about walking her up the isle in that dress! It was definitely the perfect princess dress…so puffy!

undefinedI just had to include this picture…This is my first dress that filled up the limo and came over the top of the windows!!undefinedundefinedundefinedMilton was escorted by his sister up the isle and Alex’s mother was escorted by her brother.undefinedundefinedWalking up the isle was an incredibly emotional moment for both Alex and Milton. They were both a bit choked up.undefinedDuring the ceremony, the sun was setting and streaming in through the stained glass windows…I was in love with it!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedOn our drive to the Red Lion Inn, we stopped at a beach. With the chill of the day and the wind off the ocean, to say it was chilly is a major understatement…it was FREEZING….but totally worth it!! Take a peek for yourself! All of these beach pictures were taken in about 10 minutes total (maybe 12!)…I was cracking my whip to get as much done as I could and FAST!!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAfter a quick round of family formals, I grabbed some detail shots before the wedding guests came down from cocktail hour.undefinedundefinedundefinedThe grand entrance down the stairs…undefinedand into the first dance!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAfter Alex and her dad had their dance, Milton danced with his sister and his amazing daughter! She is one of the sweetest and best behaved little girls that I have worked!undefinedundefinedundefinedAnd then the party began….undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedA final picture from their final dance…a perfect end to a perfect day!!undefined

Alexandra and Milton , I am SO happy for the two of you! I wish you the best and I hope that we stay in touch!

Alexandra & Milton

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Bride- When I started walking down the aisle and saw Milton waiting there for me.  It was the best moment of my life.  Groom- When I saw Alexandra walking down the aisle.

What was your favorite detail?

Bride- I had a vision of the centerpieces and it was amazing to see my vision come true.   I could not stop looking at them during the reception.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Don’t stress about the little things and accept that things may not go exactly the way you planned!

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Heather taking pictures of us at the beach in the cold with the whole bridal party.  We were so cold we just had to laugh! It was amazing we were even able to be on the beach in December.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Bride- I would try not to be so nervous the week before the wedding.  Other than that the day itself was amazing!  Groom- I would not change anything.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We have not planned one yet but we are hoping to do so soon and go somewhere warm!
