Alex & Drew | Wedding at Harrington Farm, Princeton, MA

Just about a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Alex and Drew’s wedding at Harrington Farm. Their day started off at the nearby Colonial Hotel while they got ready! When I arrived, the girls were just about finished with their hair and make-up and the guys were about to start getting ready too!Alex’s parents gifted her with two Tiffany & Co. bracelets to wear as her something blue and something new:)! Inside the room the girls put the tub to use:)! Alex had her make-up touched up and her lips finished! When I hopped over to the guys room, Drew and a few of his guys were in their room getting ready…When I returned to the girls, they did a quick toast before heading out to Harrington Farm!Alex and Drew had a gorgeous sunny day and quite hot too!

The girls headed upstairs to help Alex into her dress…Alex was spinning before she even had on her shoes:)!Once everyone was ready, we headed outside for their first look…Alex came down the stairs already beaming! When the bridal party came down, we started with our pictures with them – these girls were all so happy and fun!!This summer, I have found that my world is getting a bit smaller:)! When I arrived, I walked in to find that Alex’s cousin Jamie (second from the right) had been in another wedding that I photographed and then when I was photographing some people arriving, two more ladies from previous bridal parties came over to say hello too!! This has happened a few times this summer and I am LOVING it!! I love getting to see people again:)!We spent some time under the shady trees to keep everyone from melting before we even got to the ceremony, but we HAD to do some pictures in the field:)!

I mentioned the girls were a lot of fun but the guys were great too:)! This picture took place RIGHT after I said, “Be careful not to knock Drew over:)”  Gotta love it:)!!After we wrapped up with the bridal party, we spent a few minutes with Alex and Drew in the field  – the sun was tucked away behind a cloud for a few, so we stayed cool! While Alex got tucked away because guests were beginning to arrive, I photographed the gorgeous room and details!

I went up to check on the girls and found them peeking out at all of the guests arriving! The tent was set-up and ready for cocktail hour – after the ceremony! The ceremony began and was led by Drew’s Uncle….Drew’s Uncle did a phenomenal job and kept everyone laughing too! This part became even funnier, when Drew couldn’t get his fingers to do what was asked:)!After the ceremony we did a few extended family pictures…And a generations photo for Alex:)!!We snuck to the side for a few minutes to get some of the gorgeous sun setting light…Then the reception began! This was my first time seeing an introductory game of flip cup (Katie won too:)….AND my first time seeing the dress/suit switcheroo:)!! Hysterical! After dinner, Alex and Drew did their parent dances and then the partying officially began:)!

Drew and Alex – congratulations to you both – I wish you nothing but the best and was honored to be a part of your day!!
